The type of spreader tip depends on the configuration of the rigging (continuous or discontinuous). Recent improvements make possible to offer end fittings with simplified fitting for continuous tips.

THE DIFFERENT TIPS

DISCONTINUOUS TIPS

⊕ Allows a good articulation of the different parts of the wire.

⊕ The diagonals attachment is very close to the verticals in order to avoid a negative lever effect.

⊕ Can accept wire, compact strand or rod standing riggings without any modification.

> 3 types of fitting : 1 for BF2 and 2 for BF3, BF4, BF5 :

CONTINUOUS TIPS

⊕ Simplified fitting

⊕ Material : BF2 : plastic BF5 : aluminium

> BF2 & BF5 : only for tapered spreaders

BF2 continnuous tips / Non tapered Spreaders

BF5 Continuous tips / Non tapered spreader

BF3 & BF4 continuous tips / BDF with or without taper

⊕ Simplified fitting

⊕ BF3 & BF4 : assembly by self-tapping screw

⊕ material : polyamide PA 12

> BF3 & 4 : for spreaders with or without taper
