Two main families of lateral tangs are offered: backing shells and externals tangs, single or double (with thread pins):
BACKING SHELLS
⊕ The backing shells are used for the lower, upper and intermediate shrouds
⊕ The dimensions are compatibles with the former backing shells mast cuts
⊕ Add a rivet when teh backing shell is inside the mast for secure the assembly

EXTERNAL TANGS :
⊕ Single or double tang, with 1 or 2 threaded pins External tangs are designed to take stemball fittings
⊕ The threaded pins are sold separately : Determination of the thread pin diameter and part number according to the mast profil and the type of external tang.
