Sparcraft has been a member of the Wichard Group since 2013. This entity comes from the eponymous company specialized in high quality forging since 1921. The group was formed through the acquisition of complementary subsidiaries: Péguet, Profurl, Facnor, Sparcraft and Lorima. THE WICHARD COMPANY
Founded in 1919 in Thiers by Henri Wichard, the Wichard company specializes in the manufacture of forged safety parts for industrial markets. At the beginning of the 1970s, while maintaining strong industrial activity, the company took a decisive turn by collaborating with the great skippers of the time such as Moitessier, Tabarly and Alain Colas to develop its first fittings products.
50 years later, the Wichard brand has supported entire generations of sailors around the world. Wichard products are now acclaimed by all major shipyards, used by the most demanding sailors and sold on 5 continents thanks to its international network of distributors.
